I did not look into it a lot, but I think the new flexible ways to tile multiple windows in each screen is a big plus.
At least for people like me who multitask with 2-3 apps at a time with high resolution monitors.

Ofc. They don't go where Apple went though, they try to go where the market goes, and it is not Apple alone doing that.
You could also "bend" the words a bit to claim that Apple is trying to copy MS...
MS was using CISC and Intel which Apple was bashing (literally), all of a sudden 2006-2007 did a 180.
Intel had the Tablet PC and was talking about thin and portable tablets in the future, half a decade before iphone or ipad etc was even on paper, then they "copied" that idea when w/e MS seeded in R&D was ready to be provided by other inventors and manufacturers for Apple to just "assemble together" and claim innovation (see what I did there?)
At any rate, in ANY company brought the Tablet in the market - and you are not talking Archos's video/MP3 players, that's MS.Edited by pcfoo - 6/23/13 at 7:59am
