Z77 Asrock

Hi everyone, I've recently acquired a new 3770k for less than Microcenter 3570k price. Now I realize that Microcenter wasn't that bad because they had $40 off the motherboard. I am trying to find a motherboard for best OC'ing possible with the smallest budget possible, I don't want to spend more than $150, the less the better.

Regardless of this, someone has offered me an ASrock Extreme4 for $100 no taxes. I want to get it, but I keep reading about some voltage reading bug ASrock hand, yet it's one of the most popular and well rated boards I see.

So is it worth it to get the ASrock at that price or are there better options? Maybe if I wait longer they will go on sale? The main thing I esnt the motherboard to do is OC extremely well and allow dual PCI-E3 at 8x 8x.

Why get used for $100 when you can get new for the same after that coupon?

Anyway, GD65, D3H, and UD3H are better. Popular =/= good.

Well I dont think you will get a good OC with this board. I have it, and there are some problems with it. Not to go into detail, the board doesn't OC well. I'm pretty sure you can hit 4.2ghz without any struggle but the fact is the board is poorly made.

Nvm bought it, person never opened the Mobo shrink wrap or any parts. Crossing my fingers that any movement did not damage the board in anyway.
