My thoughts:
I prefer the UI now due to it's in-depth customization, which is why I use Firefox over Chrome. Although, if the new Firefox UI offers just as much customization as the current one, I will be fine with it and update. If it doesn't, however, I will only update to that version if there is the ability to choose between new UI and the current UI.

Who knows, however, there is a chance that I may update anyways and live with it.

To those of you, who think this is a direct copy of Chrome:
I am not trying to defend Firefox doing this in any way. However, Firefox had been doing UX research before Chrome even launched. Mozilla launched a UX and UI report and future designs 4 to 5 months before Chrome released.
Technically Chrome took ideas from Mozilla to create their browser UI.

Edit: thoughs = thoughts

Pin sites been in Firefox for a while now. I have 5 of them as I type this right now.

You can pin tabs, but if you close the tab it's gone. In Chrome, if you close the tab the icon still stays there for quick relaunching. That's the difference.

Really? Ok that's pretty ill. I use Tab Mix plus, so I just protect my tabs but that's actually really useful. I can see mozilla giving you the option to use the current theme so if I can use what I have now + functions like that I'll be straight

Looks like I'll be sticking to Firefox 24 if not lower. Can't lose my TMP.

Or they could, ya know, update the plugin to work with the new version, which is what they will probably do. rolleyes.gif

So much this. Who gives a crap what version it is, it's just a number.

how on earth do you people use so many tabs? It would literally drive me insane to have more than 10 tabs open.

In the few instances I actually need to look at a lot of stuff in a short time frame (doing some cross referencing or something), I'll deliberately go out of my way to open a second or even third window and organize tabs into them based on category.

If I have a bunch of stuff that I will need later, I just save the session and close them and reopen the session when needed.

Leaving everything open all the time is so disorganized and inefficient.

Now don't even get me started on you guys with over 30 plugins...

30 plugins? eek.gif

How much RAM must that eat up? I've only got 2 and FF already takes up 30-40% of my Ram.
