[CL] GTX 760 pictured, has 2GB memory - Page 3

256-bit interface.....
so what exactly is the GTX 760 Ti a derivative of..?
wasn't the GTX 760 Ti announced as an actual card to be.?

those who have GTX 670's OC or OC with modded BIOS then ithe GTX 760 is no threat.

also those who have OC GTX 680's with or without modded BIOS
and the few voltage unlocked GTX 680 then same principle for you and the GTX 770.
DCII TOP, MSi Lightning and WF3.?

I don't see why this is bad, more options for buyers ....slightly more performance for the same price.

Once AMD release frame time fix your CF setup will still edge out a pair of 770 overclocked so I dont know why you will be bothered haha
780 was a bonus? Lol, they had no choice but to release GK110 to "defeat" the 7970 because GK104 sure as heck couldn't do it. At least not without being overclocked to it's limits and even then they would have a hard time justifying the price an GTX x80 part requires.

I honestly see very few GTX 770 users. The GTX 770 owners club is barely active.

So what is best? Nvidia spending money doing a refresh that few people buy or AMD who doesn't spend any money and people still buy their HD 79xx series?

By the way, the HD 7970 still beats the GTX 770. The only card that is worth it is the GTX 780 or Titan but few people need that GPU power.

Why do you always need to act like this and be sarcastic when I make comments? The GTX 770 is nothing attractive compared to the GTX 780 or Titan.

Yeah I know about the GTX 670 sells but did I speak about it? NO, I spoke about the GTX 770.

Do you have any proof of this?

If this story is indeed true, here's what the enthusiast half of 700-series lineup could look like:

GTX 780 = Titan w/ 2 less SMX (12 vs 14)
GTX 770 = GTX 680 w/ new PCB and faster speeds
GTX 760 = GTX 670 (other differences unknown)
GTX 750 Ti = GTX 660 Ti (other differences unknown)
GTX 750 = GTX 660 (other differences unknown)

Past there, things would get blurry in terms of speculation. The GTX 650 Ti BOOST was only created as a gap-filler in the $150-$175 range (which was a no-mans-land for NVIDIA before its introduction as the original 650 Ti just wasn't cutting it).

GTX670 sold more but what does that really mean? Same as COD selling more then BF3? HD 7950 and HD 7970 are both superior cards to GTX670.

I'll take the GTX 670 over the HD 7950 but agree with the HD 7970..

I know you abhor AMD, but AMD is the clear price/performance winner. Anyone that says NVIDIA is better price/performance for single card setups is either biased or needs CUDA , in which case AMD isn't even an option.

This 256-bit 2GB GTX 760 card just solidifies the AMD range since HD7950 already clocks higher %.

I don't know about the GTX 670 selling more, since past May of this year there has been a ton of coverage on cryptocurrency , which AMD is the only choice for. wink.gif

Last I checked they don't do a per part sale breakdown for shareholders.

That should be about right.

About that, read the source. Particularly, this bit:

Worth noting, these cards are intended for OEMs only. They aren't sold individually and you will only find them in finished, packaged computers.

That's just how the business has worked. OEMs sell their desktops with renamed GPUs. I'm not sure why, so hopefully someone with more knowledge can enlighten me.
