My parents are from the UK and they done some travelling before they settled in Australia and they still have the big wooden case they traveled with. It has all the markings of where they sailed to. Pretty cool.

Well I guess if i buy some half decent solid box to post it in we can let it build stamps. Anybody got Ideas what sort of reusable packaging we should use to keep little spidey safe?
hatless i think your idea looks good to me--as far as packaging...hmm. will need to do some googling.

I'd love to borrow it from ya, but I do wonder what it'd cost to get it all the way over to The Netherlands XD

Everyone that gets selected for the little spideys first tour puts $150 into my paypal as a bond. second they transfer a second amount for the postage that might be $3 per person on the tour list. so i can cover the postage costs to and from the USA. the last member to have it will send it back to me and I will reimburse them for the cost of the postage. Each member has to cover the postage to the next person. To keep track of where it is. people need to send registered mail with delivery confirmation. Here in Australia it cost $2.70 on top of the postage, Im sure like most things in the US it will be cheaper. Also as you receive it you need to post a photo confirming you have it and when you post it to the next person you need to post the receipt and tracking number on here. Obviously blank out any addresses with photo editing. But as you provide proof that you have received it this allows the person that sent it to you to be refunded their bond sooner. Also their needs to be some sort of cut off for who is eligible to be apart of this. What will be the criteria.

Its rough but what do you think?

Everything seems good. Except maybe the person recieving the package should cover shipping instead of the person sending it. But you know, I'm ok with that, as long as I'm on the list before Remmes. tongue.gif

Maybe the criteria should be based on trader ratings (from any forum) or ebay? I suppose giving you the initial $150 as collateral could suffice.

I'm sorry we cannot allow this.
We am happy to allow postage to be covered but bonds or any other payments cannot be made.

My suggestion is that you use the rep and trader rating system and each person covers shipping to them.

Fair enough I'm happy to do that. I was just thinking along the same lines that having to hold money for a bond then return it would be a hassle/burden.

I have good faith and I'm sure others on OCN do as well. Lets hope no one spoils it for the rest. smile.gif
post #29 of 202
Shame, it'll be harder for those of us who've just joined if we can't hold money - my dad should have a very good ebay rating though, hope that'll suffice.

In the meantime, I suggest the OP starts making a list of people who want this by country/region (e.g. EU) and when a country has enough people willing to split the international P&P cost we send it over there. We could also organise the order of countries so to minimise P&P costs.

Normally a community like this should be fine to send around, but you do probably want to come up with a cut-off for who can/can't get it.
you should probably have a) minimum rep count and b) member join date.
