How to block all ICMPv6 traffic to my windows 7 pc?

Thread Starter
I'm getting tons and tons of requests from addresses which are ICMPv6.

I know it's hackers trying to intrude on my network and I block the requests every time.

I just want to set a rule in say Comodo Firewall to block all ICMPv6 requests.

The Remote machine address look like this ff02::1:ffxx:xxxx

I can block IPv6 single ip's but cannot block a range like I can for IPv4 because for IPv4 I block everything from 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 and no requests are ever allowed.

I hate having to block them every time since IPv6 is quite vast and the possibilities are endless damn near.

If I could block IPv6 0.0.0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255.255.255 I'd be golden!

Thanks

Given it's a protocol, you should be able to just block the protocol ICMPv6 in the security settings of whatever firewall you're using.
