Looking For A Quality Build Mouse - Page 2

Quality has a Name called Zowie. Those Zowie workers still didn't make my Dream come true as a natural Lefthander with average big Hands, but this Company just understands to make quality Mice based on real FPS Competition like Counter Strike.

There best Mouse in my Opinion is one of the EC evo Series, not matter if EC1 or EC2 depending on your Hand.

I already tested three Mice of the them. The Zowie AM, the FK and the EC1 doing my try with the right Hand what still feels like **** with my left Keyboardhand even I have some ambidextrous Abilities.

Give me a left handed Version of the EC1 and you see me smile for a few Days, or at least a completely new ambidextrous Concept at best in two Sizes like the EC1 and EC2 and the ADNS 3090 without that customs Lense for pure highest Trackingquality and everybody would be happy.

Zowie could become Legends with such a Mouse.

It's so damn easy and at the same Time miles away.

As for more mainstream stuff, and as much as I dislike non-ambidextrous mice (even though I am right handed), the R.A.T. 5 or 7 would fall right into your price bracket? My friend has a RAT 7 and it does scream SOLID, as well as customizability.

That's the thing, it's purely subjective. Hard to recommend something that can and should be tailored (to a degree) to the owner. Just like my keyboard, I had to try it out. I wasn't even considering it but I saw it at a shop, starting messing around with it, and I loved it.

I ended up getting the Roccat Savu, just got it in the mail today and it has it's ups and downs.

Pros:

-Mouse wheel feels like a decent one but only time will tell on some bhop servers

-Clicking feels good for now, only time will tell

-Overall smoothness while using the mouse seems to be pretty good, still need to get it just right though.

Cons:

-Biggest con right now are the side grips, they feel like sand paper which is very uncomfortable, I'm hoping it wears down over time.

-Mouse3 seems a little too sensitive for my liking. Should be a little harder to press.

Mediocre

-Software seemed pretty decent but a little buggy where some text disappeared and the installer crashed after the redeeming part is that the software is powerful and easy to use with a lot of nice features.

-The mouse seems to be a little small, not too bad though. Could have been made a little longer for my liking.

Round-Up

First impressions are fairly well, given the price ($39.99) and all things considered I would give it a 7/10.

If it weren't for the sandpaper grips and the mousewheel then it would be a very solid mouse.

Value not in mind, then I would give this mouse a 5.5/10.

Keep in mind, this is first impression. The grips I'm sure will get better but I know the Mouse3 will not.

~5 months later here are my mouse stats (from the Roccat driver)

The mouse is starting to get the squeaky scroll wheel again, the comfort of the mouse has gotten a lot better though as I suspected. No major sensor problems from what I have been able to tell.

Overall, the frame quality still seems to be acceptable but the scroll wheel quality for me was very disappointing as it is already getting squeaky. For the price that I paid though, I probably would still buy this mouse. However, I still am looking for more of a quality build mouse and more suggestions are welcome.

Recently getting excited by the SteelSeries Rival and the recently announced DeathAdder eSports (black and white.)

I guess it isn't in my Roccat driver/firmware, as I'd like to check my stats but they are no where to be seen...
