Kinda wonder which computer case for a silent overclocked PC.

I wonder about a new case.

Bascially the candidates are:

NZTX H2.
R4 Fractal Design.
Nanoxia deep silence 1.
Antec P280
Kublai
Lian Li PC-6B Silent.
Anidees+AI-6
Corsair Obsidian

The most important stuff is low noise, and I tend to put cocoa and books on top of the case thus the case should be cocoa resistant and shouldn't ignite books. If the case has any holes in sides, they should be on the right.

I prefer thick case to have proper space for CPU heatsinks. Thus 200 mm is the minimum. Ability to use Ninja 3 is a big plus. (Thought I might try Mugen 3 this time.)
Metal HD holders for screwless installation are of course much better than plastic ones. 140 mm fan in the back is a large plus. Well 140 mm large, which is bigger than 120 mm.
I guess when case is on the table, it shouldn't be too tall. Thus tall cases has a big negative.

So far I found these flaws.

H2. Airflow?
R4: holes on top are not cocoa resistant.
Deep silence 1. Bit flaky construction of some parts.
Antec: holes on top, possibly thin metal. Pricy.
Kublai: is it silent case? Only 8.2 kg, thin metal? Holes on top. Bit pricy.
PC-6B: Well how large are advantages of Aluminium in contrast to a normal case? The main problem is it's too similar to internals of my current case, and it's not anodized. Also does it have dust filters (not that I need them)? What about antivibration housing for HDs?
Anidiees. Only 207 mm thicknes, which considering it's tall as well might cause problems, or not. Also pricy.
Obsidian: Internals have that rounded part which limits big ATX MBs (which doesn't matter for me because I probably already know which MB I'd get for my next upgrade), and the front panel with power button and USB ports kills the front door line. Also flaky door hinges. Otherwise surprisingly nice for Corsair, but Nanoxia is both cheaper and better. (with exception of that front door polish)

Another possibility is to grab a noise reduction kit for HD for a few bucks, and go for Cooler Master HAF XB. No foam, but when the system goes mostly on passive, who cares. (Of course because it's not covered by a glass, it doesn't have anti cocoa features.)

The Corsair 550D is the most silent computer case on the market right now. It has amble space for cooling and the build quality is second to none. I would highly recommend it if silence is your priority.

You also might want to consider the NZXT H630, it is a new silent case released by NZXT with a lot of awesome features.

^ first thing I thought when I read the title... but OP stated:

You might wanna look for the new Corsair Air 540D, although it isn't available at the moment.

Well Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 is both cheaper and better. I only considered Obsidian because of front door polish.
