SM8 - 120.4 mounts and 120.3 radiators - plugging the empty hole

Thread Starter
Let me put this another way: I know when mounting a 120.3 rad in a 120.4 drop-in or pedestal side mount, I can stick a filter on there and let the empty slot be an air feed for the radiators in the pedestal or case top. I could also stick a fan in there; or I could just make my own blank and cover it up.

What I was attempting to ascertain is: Did I miss something at the CaseLabs Store that could be used for this purpose to keep everything clean and original CaseLabs? Is there possibly a 120.3 side mount with an extended solid (blanked) end that fits in the 120.4 pedestal mounting space? Something along that line of thinking.

Previous to the above:
I would like to give a shout out to Carla at CaseLabs! She has been most patient with me in answering the many questions I have asked of her. Thank you Carla for helping me sort out the confusion of the nearly endless customizations, even when something I asked was rather obvious! thumb.gif

I haven't run across any mount like that on the CL site. Good idea, though

Caselabs do sell blanks to cover up unused holes for the top/bottom fan hole covers of their cases, and I *think* I've seen them being used in side radiator mounts: search for MAC-184 (120mm) and MAC-300 (140mm)

I agree, it would be a great idea! there are probably people other than myself who would use an item like this. Who knows?

I completely missed those in my mulling around the multitude of optional parts. They might be just what the doctor ordered. I managed to find the HD Casters completely by accident, while searching for something completely different. I had the same experience with the U Channel sold at the site. That is why I put this post up.

Thank you both for you input, I appreciate it.

Will a CaseLabs Rep be kind enough to confirm the MAC-184 and MAC-300 parts will indeed natively fit in the open spot when using 120.3 rads with the 120.4 drop-in/side mounts?
