i am just wondering on if an 8350 is worth the more money or if i can just go with an 8320, 6300, or the 6350. also if there is anything else to fix. thanks! the absolute highest i can go is $1300, i would love to go lower if theres no difference. Would there be a huge difference between the cpus??

I think it looks fine.

consider an 8320 as an alternative. Will save you a little money and still overclocks well.

Id also look at intel CPU and Z77 or Z87 mobo as well. You can get some competitively priced CPUs as well.

The below 3570k and asrock z77 mobo can be had for similar money.

Hello, just a few questions first off:

-Is this going to be for gaming mainly?
-Are you going to crossfire in the future?
-Are you going to OC?
-Are you planning on getting case fans and another fan for the CPU heat sink?
-Are you dead set on an 8 core CPU? The FX6350 is a good CPU as well.

What about these changes? I just switched the CPU to the 8320 because you can OC it and from what I have read it is still a good CPU, switched the MoBo to the ASUS Sabertooth, and the case to the Corsair 200R, which is on sale on newegg.com. The Sabertooth is a quality MoBo and I think getting a good MoBo is key since it is a crucial component. You will be able to OC with no problems. The 200R is a great case with lots of cooling options and it is nice to look at as well as being easy to build in. I also added a four pack of some Cooler Master fans, inexpensive, but good fans none the less. You could also look into a fan controller as well.

List of parts I switched

The total comes to $1304.87 before any rebates and after rebates and what not it is $1219.87 with the suggestions I came up with.

The build that you have is not bad by any means, just trying to give my two cents and find out some more information. Cheers.

A BenQ gw2450 is the best monitor in that price range at the moment. Replace the current monitor selection with that.

Okay sounds good. I think that the build in my earlier post is solid; I would buy it. Regardless, I just want to help you get the best bang for your buck. Look at what other people have posted and read reviews, I like AnAndTech for reviews and their comparison section for all components is very useful. Cheers.

P.S. If this posts multiples, sorry. If not, disregard this post script. Haha. thumb.gif
