sounds like mine. with my BT and my fans turned up all the way (very rare) it's SUPER LOUD. but with only my FM121 turned up, it's bearably loud, but i'm just used to it. when I turn it off (not very often, i'm a good folder) it's amazing just how quiet it is. and i have my celing fan on most of the time, and the air conditioning is on a lot, so i have tons of fan noise.

My brother just ordered his P180B and he ordered 8 Scythe fans which are considered one of the top 3 quietest fans available: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835185004
Obviously I'm not naive enough to believe it's 8.7dBA claim but as I said, SilentPCReview did a roundup of 120mm silent fans and this was among the best.

Forgot to say, he ordered 8 of them so he could use 4 for his case and I'm using the other 4 to replace my fans, its damn quiet as it is but you can still faintly hear my computer and that's not good enough for me.
What are you temps like with all fans on L? Mine got a bit higher so I keep them all at M which creates a nice negative pressure system.

I would say my PC blends in with your average living room noise now. I dont notice it unless I actually listen for it.

My pc is very quiet. I am actually impressed with the stock cpu cooler, the x1900xtx and the ocz psu, all the fans and very little noise.

Loudest thing in my room when you don't blast any music. It would be better if I lowered all the fans, but I need the cooling.

Show me a pic of your case? WTH did you fit all those fans!?

Also, I'm pretty darn sure that system would run just as cool with half of those fans.. or less.. Seems a little overkill.. Are they on controllers? I would go deaf from all of that noise!

The are all run off of 2 Sunbeam Rheobus's. The first 4 Deltas/Panaflos are on the external Bonniville rad.
The next 2 are front/rear case mounted and the 2 80mm TT smart fans are side intake/top exhaust.
The rest are PSU/Vid/NB/Mem.The case is a Sunbeam Transformer. With my Honeywell asthma unit on
medium/high you can't hear the others while sitting 1-2 feet from them. Not all of us are quiet nazis.

Still need a pic?
