That's better than the Samsung 840 Pro 128gb for $120 on microcenter bundle (i qualify)?
As I understood, Crucial M4 was slightly, very very slightly, worse than the Samsung 830, but was always slightly higher priced. It was a strong 2nd best SSD until 840s and vertex 13s and whatever started coming out

It sounds like you are one of those rare breed of people who knows what they are talking about and actually used the products in question instead of simply saying 'derp derp i bought X so it's definitely the best, I'm going to go on blindly recommending it!"
I'd LOVE to hear your very, very specific reflections on these SSDs. I'm in the market for an 80GB+ SSD. Value is more important to me than speed, I could pay $120 if it's worth it, I'd rather pay $80-100, but it all depends on value. The 830 at the cheapest seems to be $100, the 840 Pro I can get for $120 as a microcenter bundle, I dont know anything about plextor.Edited by Belial - 6/9/13 at 12:08am
