Wanted to find  out whats the proformance diference  between those two .

Not planing to upgrade since im realy hapopy about my i7 3820 but simply wana know since was upgrade addicted :D

I my opinion no need on upgrade yet ... because 3820 chips run cooler than the 3770K and 4770K
Also my 3820 hits 5GHz with easy under water, 3770K and 4770K stays only at 4.5Ghz maximum
After reading testing results I don't feel like it's time to upgrade.

I agree keep that 3820. Many people overlook the cpu and go straight to the 3930k. I think the 3820 hold its own agains ivy and haswell. Plus no need of voiding your warranty to get some sick clocks out if it. OP what is your cpu overclocked to? I have mine running at 4.875 ghz. I need too much voltage to go any higher, but Im very happy at that clock

I am building my fourth 3820 build with a RIVF. It's the best sleeper cpu imo, especially for multi-gpu setups.
