Yes I bench. I am the head of Team GB overclockers. I also do help with testing, I tried the Z87 Mpower back in feb etc.

Not to throw this thread way off topic but I don't understand people that "bench" (besides people who do reviews for companies who make money off of it), what's in it for you? Money? Epeen? It just sounds like unnecessary work for nothing but epeen. I know, this is OCN but we don't have to start a bickering feud about this.

I enjoy the Classified cards simply for looks and cooling, I have never OC'd a GPU and probably never will, just doesn't seem worth it to me.

You are seriously asking someone on a site called overclock.net why they bench? Yeah how horrible, you only get to play with some toys and enjoy yourself the entire time. God forbid someone enjoys something without caring about money or epeen.

I guess it's my age getting to me. I used to spend tons of money on making cars fast and after tickets, blown engines/transmissions, tool collections, and the aggravation of upkeep for a hobby it just became more work and I quit enjoying it. I now would rather buy the faster car to begin with and enjoy having the warranty while I drive it, no more broke junk sitting in my garage! YAY!

I'm not bashing anyone, hobbies are great to have although your wallet might not think so. wink.gif Me, I'd rather just buy what the market gives me and enjoy playing games instead of frustrating troubleshooting and tweaking, I do that all day at work and the only reason I keep at it is because I get paid. Heck, I play all my games on easy now just for the story, why work for the ending?

It's a fun thing to do, some people fold too, and donate electricity...others like rock climbing tongue.gif

You should be golden with nvidia, they've dumbed down cards and with the boost feature you don't really need to oc to get decent performance.

So does it have voltage control?
