Not every keypress got recognized

Hi Guys.

So I got a Problem thats really annoying me!

Everything was okay, 'till I got my new Workstation. Since then I got the problem, that not every keypress got recognized. It's really annoying when you're peaking a corner and with the next keypress you'd like to go back but can't and die.

What I did until now:

- Reinstalled Windows -> Same problem
- Bought a new keyboard (Had a ****ty Corsair K90 and upgraded to a Filco one with brown switches on every key) -> Same problem
- No Drivers installed
- Different USB ports (Top USB3, back USB3, back USB2)

I can see the problem only by playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive but that does mean nothing because I only play this and while writing I make many typos, so I don't realize it :/

So anyone got an idea what i should check? I'm out of ideas right now... :/

Design asside, the K90 is a well made keyboard, so I don't see why it would have been a problem. Filco certainly shouldn't be either.

Just out of curiousity, did you put O-Rings on your keys? Sometimes they can take a while to settle in and affect key presses.

No, i didnt put O-Rings on the Keys...

About the K90: I just don't get it, why the hell they would make some keys rubberdome. That makes simply no sense. I like the design smile.gif

Yeah, I'm with you on that. I just bought the K95 and I love it - fully mechanical and I prefer the black with white lighting.

Not sure what could be causing the problem though. Does the problem persist outside games?
Try checking the keyboard under the control panel and make sure the speed is adjusted properly? Properly installed your motherboard drivers? The only other thing I can think of is maybe windows is incorrectly applying drivers to the keyboard.

Curious whats your FPS in GO, maybe the problem is a preformance related one and not a failure of the keyboard, may also be worth taking a look at your mobo and seeing if you can cheaply migrate to an alternative.

Like I said in the first post, I can't say if the problem persists outside of the game :/ I have to try it or I'll just play another game tonight smile.gif

I never change anything about speed or whatever in the Windows Settings, but i'll check that. I also never install any drivers for keyboards or mice. Motherboard drivers are installed and up-to-date, also no issues to find in the www. Maybe i've to update the Bios ?

I don't think its performance related because I never had it in my old Computer (Workstation -> SIG) and my FPS are constantly over 200. Most of the time over 250-300+. A Change of the MoBo woult be my absolutely last alternative.
