I have a ASRock FM2A88X-ITX+

I have NO problems whatsoever to have my RAM at 2133MHz, i even downvolted the RAM at that speed w/o problems biggrin.gif

Today I received a reply from Gigabyte (Gigabyte G1. Sniper A88X).

I am very pleased with the speed and honesty of the response.

Gigabyte has no information about the BIOS revision on the basis of the serial number.

Because of the product warranty (guarantee) I need to go to a service where I purchase a motherboard.

I purchase ~930 USD computer parts in that store, and now I have to pay 20 USD extra for a BIOS upgrade.

The problem is that there is no service in my town and I have to travel cca 60 miles to another town (capital city).

The good news is that I need on Saturday to the airport, so I'll carry the motherboard with me.

Ugh. I can't wait that long. I have to give this to my little brother for his bday at the end of March and need to be able to test it early enough out to RMA anything that doesn't work. Looks like I'll be getting the a88xm-d3h from Gigabyte then.

Have you looked at the ASUS A88XM-PLUS/CSM or MSI A88XM-E45? For the money I LOVE that MSI board.

Btw you ready for this ice storm? I live in Springfield too!
