I'm hoping with MSI coming out with the gaming version it pushed ASUS for the ROG?
We will see. I would venture to say that a ROG board will come, Kaveri seems very promising in performance, in OpenCL tasks, it is double the performance of the 5800K, which the 6800K was only a 10% if that improvement, and this is at stock clocks which are clocked lower than either Trinity or Richland.

Owning a 750K, I will not own a Kaveri Athlon, as you would be knee capping the system, as the CPU and iGPU will work in conjunction with HSA...

Do any of these boards (I am mostly looking at the Gigabyte mATX one) support ultra fast boot? Also, which of these besides Asus, support the speed control of 3-pin / non-PWM fans?

What do you mean ultra fast? I think Asus and ????Asrock???? both have Fast Boot options in the BIOS, but your hardware, software and mobo-related addons like third-party sata ports/controllers are more important for boot times.

About fan speed controls, I have no idea.
