XBMC Bitstreaming issue?

Hi Guys,

Strange problem I'm having here... I enabled bitstreaming, and for films with just regular DTS it works fine. However when I try to play any film with DTS-HD or Dolby True-HD the FPS drop down to 4.0, these films worked fine when I had my HTPC HDMI cable plugged straight into my TV.

My set up is as follows:

HTPC: Intel G550, 8GB RAM, HD-5450
HDMI ----> Yamaha RX-V373 (can support the above formats)
HDMI ----> Panasonic TXL32E5B

I ran the debug and attached the log file for anyone interested/who can help.

Jeci - XMBC Log File

Here are the rest of my settings in XBMC:

Any help would be REALLY REALLY appreciated!!

Hello mate, I resolved the issue by configuring both output and throughout to wasapi. Ill update with picture of my settings when I get home.

EDIT! I finally found info that states that the Oppo BDP-105 HDMI Input does NOT accept DTS TrueHD or DTS HD. frown.gif So I guess that was my issue, not XBMC or OpenELEC. Oh well. frown.gif

I had an issue recently with OpenELEC on a new Intel NUC. We were plugging into an Oppo BDP-105 HDMI input. I am quite sure the HDMI input on the Oppo BDP-105 will handle DTS-HD MA and TrueHD. But, we were not getting any audio playback when there was a TrueHD or DTS HD MA track. The video was transmitting fine. We had to disable DTS-HD and TrueHD within the XBMC menu in order to get audio playback.
