Fine, I'll give this DogeCoin a chance.  I downloaded the miner/wallet.  And joined Multipool.  Not sure where I go from here.

Got my 3 R9 290s set up and running. 2.6MH/s, multipool is estimating it at 2400kH/s and that supposedly would get me (at current difficulty) 72K DOGE/day. Which, at current prices, would be ~0.1BTC/day.

BitcoinWisdom has a calculator that lets you input an rate of change in difficulty over time in %, and shows your potential profits on a week by week basis. This projects a perfectly constant rate of growth, which is not very likely, but it is more realistic at showing how your earnings would change over time, given the same computing power.

It only works with LTC and BTC, though. If you could input your own block reward alongside the starting difficulty, it might possibly work for almost every scrypt coin. Dogecoin has highly variable rewards per block which adds yet another unknown factor. Coinwars should consider making their calculators more like BitcoinWisdom's.

I don't think you can split pools on a single GPU, at least I haven't seen anyone doing it. You can do it with mutliple gpu's launching separate instances of miner with different batch file though.
oh. so i was doing it right. lol.

one instance doesnt max out GPU, i was trying to mine 3 pools without maxing out to lower temps a bit

Grab the miner update that came out yesterday if you haven't already. Major performance increase.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.0

Let's see...

You can split pools, using the failover flag (check gpu scrypt readme for cgminer)

Got 50k Doge in my wallet and I'll let that ride, but otherwise I'm pulling away from Doge for now and have been mining WDC all day.. Was wondering if it might not have been better to mine Doge and buy WDC? But since the price in Doge has pulled back a little today and the difficulty up, I think I'll just stick with the mining WDC and see how that goes..

See below. I'm wrong. Also, I have no issues getting 99% usage with both gpu's in a single instance.
