Improvised sleeving tool

Thread Starter
I've been trying nearly everything to use as a molex pin remover before I shell out money for a tool. I was going through the drawers at work and found this puppy, a cheap cooking thermometer. I was prepared to take it but it was broken anyways. So this cost me zero karma! biggrin.gif

I just snipped the head off with some snips and ripped all of the guts out. I always wanted to know what was inside one of these things anyways.

When I was doing this I realized it has another function as well.
Tada, A paracord sleeving tool. Magic. I saved ~$20 thumb.gif
So if you have a thermometer sitting around, its probably worth a shot to take it apart and see if it works. Peace.

Awesome idea! Not all may be the right size for the molex removal, but they're not that expensive either.
