[Coolaler] Xigmatek Midgard III pictured, comes with a wireless charging dock for smartphones

Xigmatek showed off the third iteration of their Midgard series of computer chassis at this year’s Computex. It comes with a sleek black design and ATX motherboard that is inherited from its predecessor but there is something new. The new Midgard III comes with a wireless charging dock, on top, for latest smartphones which support this feature like the Samsung Galaxy S4, LG Nexus 4 or others. All you need to do is put the phone on the top designated and it’ll start charging. This is first chassis to implement this feature and I’ve to say its a very thoughtful idea.

Gimmick. Most people put their phones on their desk, or in their pocket. I dont know why they would do this. First not many people have custom PCs, next they have to have a smartphone that supports wireless charging (most dont, the S4 which was listed, doesnt come out of the box capable), then the user has to put his/her phone on the case- I dont know about you, but mine is always on my desk or in my pocket. And finally this extra feature will probably cost an additional $30.

Actually, if your case is under the table then this makes sense. And the wireless charging isnt supported by many phones right now but the number is only gona increase. I think its a nice feature for those who want it. I hope Xigmatek offers a non-wireless charging version as well.

Wow... Might consider this for my work build and HTC DNA

I love Xigmatek's Asgard II case.

This here is also a rather impressive case, though having a glossy finish I don't know.
