Looking for 16GB
What ram would you recommend for i7 3770K with Gigabyte z77ud5h ?
from what I've read it's best to go for 2x8GB and 1600MHz
for gaming, I know it's overkill, but that's just what I want smile.gif

DDR-1600 (800MHz x2) is not overkill it is just about standard. You will not really see a difference in gaming above or below that so that is a good speed to grab.

All these kits are 8-8-8 timings DDR-1600

All these kits are DDR-1866 with 9-10-9 or 9-9-9 timings

One of the 1600 kits achieves those timing at 1.35v which is impressive but it also expensive and all the kits on the second list are 1.5v

I would just go with the cheapest of one of those 2 lists.

I meant that the i7 and 16gb instead of 8gb is overkill (for gaming)
thanks wink.gif
