Hi, Guys.

I would like to seek for you guys help about which motherboard to choose for my gaming computer. As i know everybody is recommending me to choose Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB WIFI as my motherboard.

But, well, What's so good about Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB WIFI. maybe you guys can explain to me?

X79 is socket 2011 and Z77 is socket 1155... They take different types of processors. You can't use a 3570k in Asus P9X79 Deluxe.

If you haven't built it already, why build into a dead socket? Haswell just came out, LGA 1150 and uses new Z87 motherboards. It's not a huge improvement over Ivy Bridge but it is faster and if building new you might as well go for it. You can get a 4670K

Alright, now i get it. Thank you : )

I thought about it too, but the thing for this project on building a gaming computer I only have a budget for around US$2700-2750. Thus, I don't think it can meet the requirement.

Maybe you can help me to re-adjust my specs?
