Is Office Suite 2007 SP1 ONLY the Service Pack?

Okay, so this may be embarrassing, but I've literally never used Word or Office or anything, so I have no idea how this stuff actually works anymore.

I have access to a Dreamspark full of nice Microsoft stuff that I can get for free, and one of them was Office Suite 2007 SP1. So I downloaded it, and it's an ISO, so I mounted it to my virtual drive, and when I go to launch it, it just opens up SP1INST.HTM in my default browser with the following instructions:

Installation Instructions

It is recommended that you quit any programs you are running.
Locate the correct service pack or patch and run:
Office2007-kb946691-fullfile-x86-glb.exe for Office.
Office2007SP1-kb936982-fullfile-en-us.exe for Office.
Project2007SP1-kb937154-fullfile-en-us.exe for Project.
SharePointDesigner2007SP1-kb937162-fullfile-en-us.exe for SharePoint Designer.
Visio2007SP1-kb937155-fullfile-en-us.exe for Visio.
BCM2007SP1-KB941652-fullfile-enu.exe for Business Contact Manager for Outlook.
Note: You only need to install service packs for products that are installed on your computer. Some products may not be available in all locales.
This will install the update on your computer.

Is this stuff really only the service pack and not the main non-SP1 suite??? What the heck is the point of having the Service Pack be for free but not the actual Suite itself?? Or am I reading into this wrong / not understanding how to install it correctly.
