I would hope this is not true. That color scheme is iconic and when you see it you instantly recognize the brand as Noctua. When you establish something like that I would think you would want to hold on to it. I can not see their financials however, so they may just be doing this to appeal to a broader audience to increase the volume of sales. Either way I hope that it is not true.

I've never owned a single Noctua fan, but I can still easily tell them apart due to the the blade design. They're unique enough.
