WD Caviar Clicking and error "Delayed Write Failed"

Thread Starter
I bought 2 160gb WD caviar 7200 off of newegg. I installed them two months ago. One C:\\ is completely dedicated to Windows, speedfan, atitool, etc. (all the little background stuff). The other, E:, is for all games, programs, and music (30gigs). I only have Guild Wars and CS:S installed along with Adobe Premiere Pro. I have 66GB of free space. About 2 weeks ago the hard drive started to click but there wasn't a lag or slow down. This was only when load multiple programs. Now when i was playing gw, xfire, and itunes, It crashed and said there was a writing error. I moved gw to C drive and it works fine. Everytime i try to access or save to E:\\ i get an error "Windows- Delayed Write Failed". The WD website's advice didn't help, also Microsoft's site did help either. Is there hope or should i get a new hd and if so which? *see attachment*

Theres a bad "sector" on the HD that when data is written on, it gets corrupt and crashes. Back your stuff up and get ready to RMA.

I had a similar problem with my 320 GB WD Caviar HDD. I ended up just ending it back and they sent me a new one and it's worked perfectly fine for awhile now. Sometimes you just get a bad HDD. Just don't let it make the clicking noise for too long as that obviously is not how it should operate.
