When we talk about cooling a CPU and 2xGPU more is better right ?

There is my question tongue.gif just receive my Black Ice SR1 Low Air Flow Optimized 480mm

i actually have a 240mm and a 120mm rad to cool down there my sli 670x GTX and my 2600k oc
my temp are arround 40-50 cpu and gpu while playing in surround with 3 monitor, i didnt realy tested prime 95 i guess its like arround 70 in less than 10 min lol

my question would be there... if i add my 240mm radiator + the beast 480mm.. would it realy worth it ?

or just the 480mm would be more than ennought to handle this ?

thx in advance

If you have room use the 240 and the 480..... after all this is OCN

I cooled a 2700k and 2 x gtx 680 dcii top with an ek xtx480 and got nice temps.

I added a black ice gtx 240 to the loop in the front of my tj11 and saw minor improvements in load temps.

right now, i have all that rad solely cooling my 2700k tongue.gif

short answer - if you have the rads and the space, why not? it won't hurt.

This is OCN thumb.gif

No problem, glad to help smile.gif

These brackets made front mounting a breeze:

The TJ07 is a beauty - will you be doing a build log?

Would there really be any improvements at all? 40-50 range seems pretty close to as good as its going to get to me.. I think your getting into the range of huge diminishing returns. Isnt there a point where your CPU/GPU die can only transfer so much heat to the waterblock?

I don't agree I think it would benefit him as actually depending on what his ambient temps are 40 to 50 half loaded seems high to me.
