How to adjust the voltage of CLUB3D

Hi all,

Basically i have a card that overclocks really well and want to know how to adjust the stck voltage.. I am new to overclocking graphic cards and was wondering if anyone has any tips..

I have a Club3D 7950 KingRoyal and on stock voltage it maxes out on the core and memory when using AfterBurner.

I have gone to the settings in Afterburner and ticked the unlock voltages.

But when i adjust the voltages in the main window nothing seems to be effected and still states 1.25 VDDC (not sure what it stands for).

Also the overclock voltage bar -20/+20 does not seem to effect it either..

any Thoughts on this would be great.

Thanks
Notion

So in afterburner does it say or go up to 1.300v or does it max at 1.250v for the core voltage or VDDC? If you are reading that in a software tool such as HWinfo or HWmonitor it will only say the max that is listing in the cards bios that is the max for the ASIC voltage table for that card. However some are locked with a lower voltage, depends on the card.

Hi Kahboom,

For some reason i had to agree to the CCC software "overdrive" section for it to unlock all the options.. Last night i did some benching to find out what i could achieve. Low and behold it overclocks and everything looks tobe changing as should be.

So now things are unlocked i have found that the best setting which generate the best score with Heaven benchmarks was core:1200 Mem:1575 power adjust: +20% , VM:1219.

I tried turning the power right down with 1200 / 1575 and everything still ran fine but scores were well low.

I guessing i should be basing the overclock of the bench mark score ? correct?

also wondering if i decide to push the memory higher and the vcore, is it likely to damage the chip?

is there a suggested limit or?

I know with Ivy Bridge chip its best not to run above 1.4vcore 24/7.. Is there a suggested limit with Tahiti pro2 chips?

Thank

For daily use keep it under 1.25v for air and even water, only raise above this as needed for benchmarks, it would be much more ideal to see the core under 1.18v, but its up to you and your needs.
