Lower e4300 power usage?

I have a server with E4300 and it is 2% cpu use all day.

It is always at 1100mhz and never goes lower.

for 775 lowest watts cpu is celeron 440, I can get for $5.

If I put in celeron 440 (35 wattage) and it is at 2% like E4300
how much watts you think it use?

I honestly don't think there is going to be much of a difference, the 440 is a single core so it will be working harder - just underclock and undervolt the E4300 and you should be fine thumb.gif

Well it's 10x8 W HD. So you are drawing relatively low energy. I doubt using worse CPU would help at all.
