Help with gaming setup

Thread Starter
I am designing a gaming setup on a $450 budget. My plans are as follows.

ALREADY HAVE OR GIFTS

Samsung Series 7 Chronos
IKEA FREDDE Workstation Desk
Sony MDR-ZX100 Headphones
Multiple Surge Protectors
Generic Desk Chair
Xbox with 2 wireless controllers (Shared)

TO BUY

SYBA USB Mic/headphone adapter
Antlion ModMic (for Sony's)
Xbox 360 controller adapter PC
LED's smile.gif
Chair Mat (I have carpet)
Linksys Powerline network
Mionix Propus 380 mousepad
Mionix Naos 8200 Mouse
Rain Design mStand Laptop Stand
CM Storm Quickfire TK

So I have $50 of breathing room and am willing to switch out or upgrade any of these products. Any suggestions?

Also, powerline is a good choice compared to wifi just cause you can use linux without dealing with driver issues
