Very interesting, but would it survive a drop? Just watching him adjust the pieces made me question its integrity/durability..

I do like the mesh characteristics though, would prevent palm sweat during intense FPS'ing

What a darn shame they used the m100 as the base, but I guess they wanted to start with something cheap and easy to find.

Please, please do something like this to a mouse with a half decent sensor!

That's actually why they went with an M100. Not all of us can afford or even want an expensive mouse considering the M100 works just fine. Heck, I've broken the buttons more often on every M100 I've owned (over years of abuse mind you) then I have had a bad sensor.

Well yeah I get that, but at the end of the day buying a m100 and this kit for it is still more expensive than most actual good mice on the market. I doubt anyone looking for an el-cheapo ergonomic solution is going to be picking one up.

Heck, you could pick up a R.A.T.7 from Amazon for the same price (or less actually once you factor in amazon's super-saver or prime shipping).

This kit certainly isn't going to be adding any durability either.

I dunno... It's a start, and a cheap base mouse is a good start, but it's kinda hard for the average user to justify spending that much money just to rip their mouse apart and void the warranty in the process. I feel they would have been better off marketing it towards "gamers", who are generally more willing to dish out money for better peripherals, but the m100 base is going to turn most if not all of that crowd away.

Except the damn 3D part is $70 from them, and even if you had a 3d printer, the plastic would be over $20 worth. Plus the mouse, and yeah you might as well buy a better mouse to begin with.
