2 Questions on mechanical keyboards

1. Is it possible to switch out the switches in them?
I would like to try to get all blue's ( or greens ) but the WASD in either red or brown switches

2. Do all keycaps fit all mechanical keybards ( that use cherry switches? )

I really want to order a WASD keyboard, but they are currently backed ordered until further notice.

I was thinking of getting a cooler master quickfire rapid and putting custom keycaps on it.

No it's not possible to change the switches.

Not all keycaps will fit all boards. It really depends on how the manufacture does the space and the size of the keycaps. Usually you see the bottom row on the keyboard may differ in size. Also some keyboards use different stabilizers for the large keys that need more support then just the switch. Like space bar or shift keys.

Alright, thanks, I'll just wait till WASDKeyboards gets their new model in stock ( been on backorder for a few months now ) I want a 10 keyless with custom colored caps, so it seems thats my only option for now.
