Not sure why this PSU is bad? Hope it would suffice for my New rig.

It is of low build quality, unlikely to be able to provide full wattage, inefficient, outdated, and has poor voltage regulation. It might be okay for a little while, but I would replace it as soon as possible.

Do not get to caught up in price when looking at motherboards, higher price is not always worth the extra cost. The Sabertooth for example is a great board but I have gotten the same overclock and performance out of the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 and it is $40 less. If you plan to only use one video card the Asus M5A97 and the Gigabyte 970A-UD3 are both excellent boards that overclock well, are very well made and again will deliver the same performance level for even less.

I would not say you bought failed parts. The PSU has enough wattage to handle the loads you will be putting on it and the video card is a solid GPU. You could very well be just fine with what you have gotten.

Thanks...

I will go with either 990FXA-UD3 or Asus M5A97..

I'll try to sell out my GPU and PSU if possible and get better ones if that's what all recommend.

I'd have to butter my Mum n Bro for some extra money though biggrin.gif

Skip the ASUS M5A97. The board is problematic IMO. I still say the mainboards not a good place to cheap out regardless of what you end up going with, but thats just my opinion based on my experience.

From a pure gaming experience, no. They are really six of one and half dozen of another. The i5 is based around the brute force per core design and the FX around the more cores is better design. In modern games the trend is shifting toward more cores and the FX is starting to gain ground. However even in games where the i5 does better the FX delivered a great gaming experience.
