[AMD] Latest graphics cards on display for E3 next week - Page 11

I hope there are some new ones on the way . My 6970 is showing it's age , and I was planing a replacement in July ( Aussie tax return time ) .

How about some GPU's with hardware frame metering to put a end to this microstutter garbage which has plagued AMD for years

That would be nice biggrin.gif Nvidia has gone off the deep end with the current pricing but with that being said, I have a bad feeling that AMD will follow suit.

As for AMD at E3, I can see latest graphics cards being 7990, though it would be better PR for them if they demo the next gen. They've been showing off Kaveri at Computex so why not Jaguar (console), Kaveri, and next gen discrete at E3.

Taken from that article "rebrands are OEM-only products and would never be seen within the retail space."

Hahaha.

Nvidia rebranded the entire 6XX desktop series into the 7XX desktop series. That is nothing to do with 'OEM's'.

Sneaky sneaky Nvidia.

Great! That might mean I could pick up two cheap HD7950's from some performance-hungry fools and return to trifire! biggrin.gif
I'm not even joking, it would be great for me, since a 7950 goes for ~355$ in my country and the 7970 goes for ~460$ retail at best.
I love the generation shifts, since it means somebody on a forum is gonna try to sell their A-OK high-end GPU for, like, ~250-280$ so they can get the "greatest and newest".

Again this is referenced as if it is a bigger deal than it is. The issue is only in multi-card setups, only in certain games and only noticed by about 50% of users. BTW I do not think the issue for this is hardware based but rather driver based.

hopefully they won't include pretty words about PS4/ONE hardware

Hmm, my 780 step-up should go through next week as well. Very interesting... thinking.gif

And another one in the same boat, running a GTX670FTWSig2, and trigger-finger on a 7970 purchase. Will be interesting to see what this new development from AMD turns out to be. Think it's about high-time I gave the AMD cards another go. Last one I owned was a 1800XT!
