Alternatively, you could get one of the dp MST hubs to use DP for both monitors, but i dont know what they are priced at currently

Well I did not think this would be an issue a year ago when I got the Samsung. I may grab a BenQ or Asus 144mhz monitor and then I would be good to go for all three monitors again. May just sell the samsung.

It won't drive it at full refresh rate; only half (60hz).

My only advice at this point is to *try* the HDMI. I don't think it will work (anandtech's review, although it says it's an HDMI 1.4 compliant monitor, explicitly says that you have to use DisplayPort to get 120hz operation).

YA I saw that too. So My only option is to live with swaping the monitor cables when I want to use my Apple display or sell my Samsung for a BenQ or Asus 120hz monitor. The issue there is I hate matte screens. I wish BenQ would have made it an option.
