Quick GPU Cooling Route Question

I plan on doing water cooling in the upcoming months for a new build and I was wondering if I can route water coming in from the motherboard to the card and then have it come out the same side of the card (the backplate) then to the cpu and then to the res? Or I can't and then I use a 90 degree compression fitter to get to the cpu?
When I mean from the motherboard I mean the built in liquid area on the ASUS Maximus VI Formula.

Where is your radiator placed? And what kind of reservoir system are you using? If your having your RES>PUMP>RAD>MOBO>GPU>CPU>RES then yeah, everything should be fine. The loop route does not matter. Heat will dissipate through the RAD and RES which ever way you have the loop go.

Btw, when you have the free time, please set up your rigbuilder signature. It makes it easier to answers questions such as this when we know what components to look at. thumb.gif

The radiator would be placed on top and as for res and pump, it's a dual bay res/pump combo (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13884/ex-res-300/XSPC_Dual_525_Bay_Clear_Reservoir_-_w_D5_Variant_Pump_Installed.html) The case in mind so far is a NZXT Switch 810 so I was thinking of doing res/pump>rad>mobo>gpu>cpu>res/pump and repeat.

That loop route will work fine.

Have you checked out the Raven Rv02? With the right setup, it can look really nice! wink.gif

In my personal opinion, the Switch 810 looks better with two 240rads. Looking at how your system is going to play out with one 360rad, your probably going to have quite a bit of tubing hanging around in your case. If this is no big deal to ya, go for it. For me though, I try to stick to the less tubing the better plan.

The Raven is a little bit out of my price range, I was thinking about maybe the NZXT H630 Ultra whenever they decide to release it but I might consider it. I would be using a 240mm rad, not a 360mm and the only thing that might bug me might be the way that the tubing from the radiator to the motherboard and from the gpu to res/pump might be because it probably would be long but other than that I think I have it planned out to look decent.

EDIT: This would be my first full water cooled system attempt and I would use a separate tube reservoir and a pump but I wouldn't know how to mount it or what parts I would need or how to even route it to make it look decent.

My loop order is CPU>360 Rad>GPU>240 Rad>Res

I was thinking something like that now but without the rad at the bottom but the pump and reservoir a little bit lower.
