USB 3.0 speeds with P9X79 PRO Motherboard

I purchased my rig about a year ago and I recently purchased and received my first USB 3.0 flashdrive. I have re-installed the drivers multiple times but I do not believe my drive is working at 3.0 speeds.
It is a Verbatim V3 USB drive that specifically says it is 3.0. I have downloaded and installed the latest 3.0 driver from the MB's website, "Asmedia USB3.0 Controller Driver V1.14.3.0".

To initially test my speeds I copied an .iso of arch linux to the drive. I was getting nothing faster than 20MB/sec. I have tried all of the 3.0 ports on the case header(Phantom 410) and the motherboard. I was saw somewhere something about disabling usb 3.0 legacy. I want this enabled though, yes?

I believe I would normally not post for such a simple"ish" question but this whole driver situation is upsetting me and I am loosing patience with it.

I currently do not have any other 3.0 devices to test out (or other machines capable of 3.0) but I am hoping to borrow something from a friend in the next few days.

Suggestions?!

Thanks

I've had two USB 3.0 boards and the best speeds I got were around 50 MB/s (copying from my USB 3 external or card reader), probably 40s average. 20 MB/s is more like USB 2.0 speeds. Not sure about whether disabling legacy will work, but it's easy enough to try (BIOS setup).

So I tried the flashdrive on a friend's computer who has a few USB 3.0 ports and it is looking like it is the drive that isn't giving me great speeds. I am going to try crystaldiskmark and compare it with other similar drives, perhaps I just didn't get a great 3.0 drive but as long as it is giving me something over 2.0 I guess I might as well keep it for the $2 that it cost me.

I ran CrystalDiskMark and got these results...thoughts?
