So now pretty much all of us, are awaiting Haswell-E CPU line, now that some of the specs have been announced, the new potential "King of the Hill", who am I kidding...It will be. So glad they recognized that keeping the GPU where it was not wanted was a bad thing, and are giving up to 8/16 cores/threads.
Too bad for those hoping for some competition in desktop CPU's as AMD basically is Focused on mobile, consoles etc...
As is, nothing to see here for regular Haswell unless you brick your rig, and just happen to need a total rebuild on current tech, as opposed to "catching a falling knife" of older technology.
That said , I just upgraded from my 4Ghz i7 920 only because my old motherboard was letting me know it was time for a change, by giving me scary hard drive controller intermittent errors with Raid-0
Living on the edge, I guess... Though I Image the C: drive once a month at a bare minimum.
