Most PSU's are made by a handfull of company's yes that corsair is made by seasonic or channelwell, slap a label on it and increase the $'s

I was kind of thinking about trying a Seasonic PSU if and when my Corsair AX750 dies - apparently I've had one all along biggrin.gif

This is exactly why you have to do your homework when buying PSUs from marketing companies that don't physically manufacture their own PSUs (e.g. Rosewill, Corsair, etc.)

Just because one given line of a company's PSUs is made by a quality company (e.g. Seasonic and Super Flower, among others), doesn't mean that another line from the same company isn't built by a less reputable OEM like AcBel Polytech or Huntkey...

Cosair has 4 OEM Seasonic and CWT being the two you talked about but you forgot Chicony Power Technology and Flextronics

The most underrated OEM in my mind is ATNG power co. ltd almost no one has heard of them and they stayed very low profile untill a few years ago

Hmm according to this site my silverstone da650 is not 80plus certified but according to the store i bought it from in 2009 it had a 80plus bronze certification.
