Not since I scaled it back to 4.2ghz, the LLC is just on auto right now.  C States are enabled.  Once I reseat the HSF, I'll probably spend a bit more time on the OC, try to tweak it so I can get 4.4, or 4.5ghz stable.  That is a real quick n dirty 4.2ghz.

Can anyone tell me the ADDED electricity bill they have had to pay, if they are folding 24/7?
Just want to know, seeing as I've now moved out of university (where it used to be free electricity)

Well if reseating your cpu doesn't show any real temperature improvements you could always try and delid it. Of course that's the last way out, but your temps are still pretty good nonetheless so it wouldn't really matter that much.

It's a D14.  I had to scale the OC down to ~4.2ghz to keep temps around 70c folding.

Well you do have 6 cores tongue.gif

Just a Hyper 212 EVO + Arctic Silver MX-4, when i get some money i will definitely upgrade to watercooling but for now i can't complain.

Edit: oh oops thought you ment me for a moment, i'm tired smile.gif

Yea, got ninja'd...

Tray mounting ever thing and putting it all under water at the end of the year; 7 cpus, 6 gpus; should be fun.

Depends on the hardware, but when I was running my 3930k OC'd @ 4.7Ghz 24/7 it was ~$30 probably.  Depends vastly where you live.

I see!
I'm just curious really. I just don't want my mum spending a lot of money for my folding

It really depends on how much you're being charged per kWh.
Currently I'm in a 850 sqft apartment. My estimated usage for June is going to be $220. I pay $0.072/kWh for 0-800 and $0.08/kWh for anything over 800 kWh. I have a 2P X5650, 2P E5-2650, 1P E5-2670 and a GTX 670 folding 24/7 right now. Without them I bet my power bill would be below $100. My AC is working overtime... biggrin.gif
