That'll work. I'll try reversing the fans this weekend and post the temps. Looking forward to the (hopefully) lower temps!

I suspect it works better because of the cpu cooler I am using.... your results might be different.

A bit late, but that rig is quite nice.

Also great how it fits right into that case. Did you pad it with anything?

I didn't end up padding anything.
All the components hold fairly well by themselves.

The only issue I have it the sata connector for the bluray drive vibrates out of the motherboard on occaison. I have since use a tiny dab of super glue and it hasn't come out since. If I gave it a large tug it would come out though.

Hi there, I know the Noctua NH-L12 is taller than most of the components, but did it block the front USB 3.0 20-Pin internal header? I realized the internal header that comes with SG08 is too tall & stiff.

A picture would be very helpful.

I don't have a picture, but no it did not block the front panel usb 3.0 connector.....

though I can say traveling on airplanes / lugging it around in a pelican case vibrates it out of the socket.... and after fixing it 5 times or so I just leave it alone now. The back has enough for me.

Thanks for the reply.

I have my NH-L12 block the USB 3.0 internal header on my mobo (Asus H87i). I was a bit careless, measuring only the RAM and PCIe slot. Should have taken those stiff cables into consideration as well.

I had someone PM me for advice on a similar build, so I thought it would be good to write a little bit about some updates since I last posted here.

I have added a second SSD alongside the first, increasing the storage to 1 terabyte of SSD's.

I also upgraded the titan to a titan x, a large improvement, as overclocking in this case is difficult and it also has limited power.
