Well crossfire has some nasty stutter in this game, so you wind up having to use a framerate limiter which negates any performance lead AMD's card may have over the Nvidia counterpart.

Anyways I'm very interested to try this DLC out once they drop the price to something reasonable... I am not paying $3.75 per map.

In terms of the 680/7970, the 7970 wins a majority of the time by 1- 5 frames (though both are considered unplayable by most of us)

But who would buy a 680 now when the 770's are out and cheaper. Gigabyte 770 hitting 1300mhz for $410 is not a long shot.

Comparing new Nvidia cards to AMD's current generation?

The 770 is no faster then a 680 and its OC ceiling is also no higher....

3-5 fps more with a Titan over a 7970. I like the new nvidia cards, and in some games they do really well. But in such a graphically tough game, where one would buy a titan for specifically, 3-5ps more is terrible imo.

Actually it's comparing what is currently released on both sides to each other. Who cares what gen it is, AMD doesn't have the 8000 yet so why cry about people wanting to compare the 700 series.
Same thing as we've seen in all the other benchmarks before, really no difference, and without the 700 series it's not new information at all.

I think we should reserve judgement until more reputable websites come out with the testing seeing as how gamegpu testing always has AMD doing better than virtually every other website out there.

Their "test" results of Crysis 3 were also out of whack with what other sites has as well.

Link.

In Crysis 3 @ 1080p

GTX 680 lost 44% at 4x and 87% at 8x.

7970 Ghz lost 39% at 4x and 92% at 8x.

So if Nvidia gpu's can't handle msaa then what does that make the 7970 ghz since the numbers are so close?

Neither can.
