Hi Rbby258

I own a MSI GTX 770 ...but Gaming so with the OnSemi NCP4206 voltage controller.

Is there any chance to have more than +12mv on the Vcore with AB ?

I am quiet happy with it, the card runs fine @1320 Mhz but u know we always want more biggrin.gif

Thanks

I don't think so, you would need to do a volt mod on the card

something like this

I should game.

Hi, new to the forum.

I have a Gigabyte Windforce 4GB 770 card. Am I screwed as far as overclocking it? I was unaware they were voltage locked when I purchased it.

I can get 1280 MHz on the core and 1972 MHz on the memory. Been trying to find out if there are any tricks to unlocking it but found nothing anywhere. mad.gif

I always seem to make the wrong choice with GPUs....

From what limited info I could find, I won't be able to get much more out of the card compared to say the MSI Lightning.

Don't get me wrong, its a nice card. I just wanted to overclock it more and really wanted to get over 1300 MHz on the core.

I can get 1306 MHz but will sometimes crash in Unigine Heaven. If I could actually bump the voltage I could get a much better overclock. mad.gif

I'm in the same boat as you Dorrak, My card is stable at 1306 in some things but not in others. With a little voltage bump it would be fine.

Yeah I would almost be tempted to return it and grab a Lightning or something. Though I just got done dealing with an Asus 7970 Matrix, which I replaced with this Gigabyte 770.

Can't complain about its performance. So if it isn't broke, don't fix it thumb.gif Who knows maybe somebody will find a way to unlock it one day.

Picked up a EVGA SC GTX 770 and I'm really disappointed to find out the voltage is locked.

Rbby do you think it's possible to flash my BIOS to a Lightning BIOS?
