Unlock Afterburner limits on lots of cards! some with LLC (One tool for all AB versions) - Page 70

I'm at my wit's end..

Tried using this software with my EVGA 780 GTX w/ ACX and Double Bios.

Now, I'm sitting here with a VDDC at 1.494v constant. And I don't want that. It's constantly downclocking because it's hitting the Power limit. I've tried everything I can to reset it, and it won't go back to its default values. Not sure what to do. Need help.

Hey Rbby258,

I've my waterloop up and running and my 3770k stable at 4,6Ghz (without delidding). Now I am ready to overclock my 770 lightning. It has an EKWB waterblock and stock temps are low (arround 38 celcius, core and vram). I am happy with the temps.

Now my first questions is how much core, memory and aux voltage can I use for daily usage (gaming and benching)? I've read this whole topic but can't find a clear and satisfying answer.

Also, I tried some overclocking already:
+150 on core results in +175 Mhz (Core clock), temps are arround 54 celcius)
+100 on mem results in +375 Mhz (Memory clock)

But as soon as I start overclocking my memory at 375 throttling starts to hit my 770. Now I've read here and there in this topic about getting the power limit to 300%. But I can't figure out how exactly to get this done. I can find some guides on the internet about how to flash the bios but which one do you recommend?

PM me your bios and I'll unlock it for you to 300%

Hey there,

The modified bios Cookieboyeli sent me wasn't satisfying (crashes with settings that were stable with the stock LN2-bios). Not sure wether I am asking to much of my 770GTX or that the bios wasn't that good modified. So I tried myself. With Keplerbiostweaker 1.26 I was able to change the power limit. I also see the change in AB (max is @280). But my GPU voltage won't go higher then 1.33. With Cookieboyeli's bios the GPU voltage went till 1.36 so I am obviously missing something here. Is there anything else I should change in the bios?

Throttling in the Valley Benchmark starts with the following settings arround test 7/18:

Core Voltage +150
Memory Voltage +100
Aux Voltage +50

Power limit 300
Core clock +175
Memory clock +375

Above are the settings I would like to use for gaming/benching so my questions remains. Is there anything else I can do to avoid throttling or am I demanding to much of my lightning?

I'm not sure why it would be unstable. It could be that it's just not taking the extra voltage well, but I doubt that.. I'm looking into it.
However, you should try raising your AUX to 100 or more and lower your MEM voltage to 70. You might also try raising your CORE voltage another 25mv to 50mv if you can take the heat. Don't let it get above 94c or you'll throttle. Actually, you have a waterloop so you can raise that even further.

You might also want to underclock your memory or just keep it at stock until you find your max core clock as overclocking memory can sometimes hinder GPU OC potential.

Thank you for your new modified bios cookieboyeli and help. I appreciate the effort you are putting into this. I'll try again.

May I ask, what is the difference if I use this method vs 'Volt Mod guide rewrite by Occzmrazor' in the sticky thread?

Also, the voltage reported by sensors in AB seems to be ~15mV lower than the value I set. (ie: it flicks around 1.281-1.288v when I set 1.3v). This is meant to happen?
