Please,how to remove power limit to 780Lightning?
This bios is already removed...http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/msi_geforce_gtx_780_lightning_plimit_bios_download.html
By the way,not me increased by using voltage on the core, only the default +62mV (1.200v)

Thank you! I have a friend with the same problem and I think he must have just missed this. I enabled it without thinking so I didn't remember to mention that.

If you upload your LN2 bios I will unlock everything on it for you. Power limits and other bios restrictions will be gone, I make no changes to the voltage or P states.

The changes I make are based off of Skyn3ts changes. (He is the god of bios modding here at OCN) And also Svets recommendations (he is the main dev for a bios modding tool on MSI forums).

To extract your bios you will need Kepler Bios Tweaker 1.25 and to flash you will need nvflash. Make sure they are in the same folder as they work together. Zip the bios and upload it in a PM to me.

I have uploads LN2 BIOS, but the values of the voltage and power limits are still at the same level as in normal bios, the only thing that changes are the basis of such a core, I thought that if I switch LN2 bios, so I'll no limit than that declared Case cards.
I sent the bios uploads to PM, I hope I did it right.

Yea you did it right, I'm modding it right now. Your vbios is weird though. I can't touch the voltage, not that I need to anyway. You'll be limited to 1137mv unless you use the hack. Everything else is looking good. I've corrected for vdroop and unlimited all power values as well as reducing the boot fan speed to minimum.

Any idea how this works in SLI?

I have 2 different cards, both are supported by this tool though.

Any help appreciated thanks!

(gaming 770 and Lightning)

I used the modified bios you sent and I feel as if nothing has changed, the slider in Afterburner to limit power and core voltage, although the values 300 and 100, but I get the same frequency as the classical BIOS (non LN2).
Core voltage set to the value of 1.162 is always a power limit msi kombustor appears in the red around 106% even when I set the limit to 300%. I do not understand.
Maximum Stable frequency is around 1.2 GHz and reckless of whether I am in the normal BIOS or modified LN2.
Or am I doing something wrong? I do not know, but perhaps even move the sliders to know biggrin.gif

under advanced check your status with the check ri3 and ri4 buttons one should give you invalid and one should show some info

go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Profiles
you must open the VEN_10D......cfg as admin right's with notepad

add this line below "msi afterburner must the closed when doing it"

[Settings]
VDDC_Generic_Detection=0
VDDC_NCP4206_Detection=4:20h

or

[Settings]
VDDC_Generic_Detection=0
VDDC_NCP4206_Detection=3:20h

if ri3 was invalid add the 4:20 one if the ri4 is invalid use the 3:20 one
I should game.
