and

TheBoom thank you for you input into this matter it is much appreciated however I am not quite sure i under stand what you mean buy "For the LLC, use the manual input in CMD mode (wi4,20,DE,00)"
if by this you mean to test the controller in cmd to see if i get the 41 return then i can say that i have done this but if not what do you mean buy this ?

So keen to get this going when i get home today.

Until you reply i will try to decipher your message lol thanks guys

Sorry this is what I meant :

Go to Program files (x86) and locate MsiAfterburner folder and press "shift" and right click on the MsiAfterburner folder, click "open command window here"
try this command:

msiafterburner.exe /wi3,20,DE,00 OR msiafterburner.exe /wi4,20,DE,00 which one works for your card

Then: msiafterburner.exe /ri3,20,DE OR msiafterburner.exe /ri4,20,DE

The return code must be "00"

Edit : The bios that Keroro sent you must be the one I sent him. It's a modified version of the 760 Hawk LN2 bios done by a fellow member of overclock.net "SKYNET". It will only work for 760 gtxs.

Ok so i must be completely screwed up.

so i flashed the new bios in nvflash in windows then i check and all is fine flash done and check in gpuz and clocks have changed to 1033 on core but again nothing no voltage change from afterburner nothing the only thing that has changed in afterburner is the fact that standard profile has +38mv now but now this setting does not change voltage either.

the extended one does nothing as usual and from what i can see i don't even hit the full 1.200mv anymore stuck at 1.150

am is missing something i tried both tools agian tried the lines of setting in afterburner profiles and still nothing

Okay, try doing this.
Do a clean AB 18 install
Go to afterburner install directory, profiles, then add the correct VDDC line. (ri3/ri4) (You probably know which one to use)

Download this tool: http://www.overclock.net/t/1425102/updated-ab-b18-team-skyn3ts-unlocked-ncp4206-voltage-llc-mod-tool
Follow the instructions in that thread, ESPECIALLY 'the Fix for applying voltage' spoiler section

Hi guys,

Thanks for all you help on this matter first off.

Ok so i have flashed the bios on both of my cards with the nvflash tool and it said successful and when i view the the cards in GPU-z it states that the closed has changed on the gpu so it has done something i know that much for sure.

I have completely re-installed the drivers for my gpu to the latest official driver and installed afterburner from scratch also making sure that i deleted registry entries for both the old after burner and nvidia drivers befor installing them agian i then run.

"

Go to Program files (x86) and locate MsiAfterburner folder and press "shift" and right click on the MsiAfterburner folder, click "open command window here"
try this command:

msiafterburner.exe /wi3,20,DE,00 OR msiafterburner.exe /wi4,20,DE,00 which one works for your card

Then: msiafterburner.exe /ri3,20,DE OR msiafterburner.exe /ri4,20,DE

The return code must be "00"

"

from TheBoom

then i have edited the profiles as you can see below

I then followed this as instructed to the letter!!

1. Load OC profile hit apply
2. Click the same profile to where i shows Apply as clickable.
3. Apply voltage in tool.
4. Click apply in AB.

The old steps doesn'tt work anymore for me, where you apply voltage, move any slider up and then back down and apply. But theres no way to save the voltage into a profile.

pre-requisites:

Run Afterburner & my program in admin mode. right click .exe>properties>compatibility>tick run as admin box

Afterburner 1.3v softmod & Afterburner Download

Step by step guide, LLC: (Click to hide)

Ok, to begin with you should read everything on the program itself. There are some important points.
That a side let's crack on:

The two circles in the image below indicate whether or not your cards NCP4206 is at position 3 or 4 on the card.

An easy test to find out if your card is a 3 or a 4 is by clicking the check LLC status on the red and blue side.

Whichever side returns with:

Is the correct one. (If you have used my mod before it will return as 00.)

Simple click the Enable LLC mod on either the red or blue side (whichever one your card is)
And that's LLC enabled, simple eh?

You can test if it's worked by clicking check LLC status. It should return a 00 now.
Step by step guide, GPU Voltage Control: (Click to hide)

Enter your voltage as a 4 digit number.

Remember that actual voltages are always 0.025v higher due
to the LLC mod being enabled. I've tried to get the numbers and voltages to match but the buck controller
simple doesn't have enough programmable steps for LLC.

Code:
1200 = 1225 which is 1.225v due to LLC

After you've clicked the apply button and you're sure your volts are correct head over to your Afterburner program:

Then all you need to do is move your power target down one then back up one to make the apply button click-able.
Then just click the apply button and monitor the change using Afterburners graphs to verify it's worked.

"

Still no change in voltage and still now stuck at 1.150

I have got to be doing something wrong here?

Please help guy i have turned into desperation mode lol

1) Are you able to monitor GPU voltage in AB? If not, go to the 'Monitoring' tab inside settings, is there the option to tick it (under active hardware monitoring graphs)?

If there isn't the option: Try using 'standard MSI' mode and repeat step 1.

One thing I did notice is that using 'extended MSI' mode breaks voltage monitoring in AB AND GPUZ.
The gpu voltage graphs simply disappears in AB.
Gpuz still produces a value, but that value doesn't change at all.

I would love to post a screenshot of my AB working, but unfortunately, I am away for a while.

Several things I did remember when using my working AB:
1) When opening AB with default vga settings, the voltage slider setting says AUTO.

2) By using Zawarudo's tool and the 'fix for applying voltage' method, the voltage next to the slider changes to the value setting within the tool automatically. ( You should not need to touch the voltage slider in AB at all)

3) I was able to monitor voltage within AB.

4) I did not manage to get LLC to work. Checking LLC status never retured a 00.

If nothing works, I would recommend you using one card first before trying both at the same time.

Also, try play around with 'extended MSI' and 'Standard MSI'. Some of the methods I followed on OC.net didn't necessarily work for me.

Im sure its something to do with the new afterburner, you can try this version i have

1. install this version of afterburner at its default location after uninstalling your old one

http://archive.sunet.se/pub/games/PC/guru3d/afterburner/MSIAfterburnerSetup300Beta15_SE-%5BGuru3D.com%5D.zip

2. once you install it you won't be able to run it because its a expired version (beta 15) unless you open my tool and let it open it for you

Rbby258ABVoltmod.zip 231k .zip file
I should game.

COOL GUYS I WILL GIVE THIS A SHOT TOMORROW AS IT IS 1AM AT THE MOMENT that might just do the trick rbby ill let you know

keroro185 thank you for explaining champ .Yeh i was skeptical about gpu-z not showing correct voltages but gpu shark also displays the same voltage and I guess you are not running the latest beta because afterburner beta 18 does not have the auto function anymore and if so how did you get it back myn just displays a 0 default on standard and extended settings and when installing the older beta's you have to change your clock so that they will run and you don't get a missing components message or what ever that is.

I have noticed that afterburner also does not display voltage when changed to extended

I cannot change my clock as i run my gaming pc on a home domain so hopefully rbbys tool will open afterburner in an older version without me having to change my clock back a few months

keroro185 could you tell me if you are in fact running the latest beta of afterburner when you get a chance

Talk about false advertising msi "NO LIMITS" my ass lol

Again to both of you thanks again you all make forums the best source of knowledge smile.gif

cheers
