PSU for crossfire 7950

Thread Starter
I purchased two Sapphire Vapor X 7950's which seem to require dual 8 pin but my current PSU only has 8+6, I could use an adapter to get 8+8 but should I just get a 850W PSU such as the Corsair HX850. My current PSU is an Antec Truepower 650W, would this be enough for an 2500k at 4.5GHz and two overclocked 7950's?

Yes you could do it but you would not have much room left

How about the Rosewill Casptone-M 750 watts

You dont need 850 watts

Yh the Coolin Silencer MK III is available but its £130 whereas the HX850 is £120. There doesn't seem to be a huge price difference between 750W and 850W modular PSU's.

Max £120 and I would prefer to buy from Amazon directly not third party sellers.
