DuckyChannel, the well known mechanical keyboard manufacturer from Taiwan, took the wraps off its new Shine 3 keyboard this week at Computex (Taipei) where it displayed pre-production versions of what seems to be an aesthetically augmented Ducky Shine 2.
I know, I am "lvl 1" @ mech keyboards, but doesn't it look just like the others? 1-2-3 etc - just say it is one with an aluminum body or just color ducky...

the ducky 3 comes with 4(?) additional lighting modes(on top of the 60%, 100%, selective and reactive DS2 has), delayed reactive, wave, pulsing, and snake i think(mighjt be off on a few). It also introduces a new space bar design that isn't final yet. also for those who want button speed macros, it integrates a mode on the keyboard where when you hold a key, it can rapidly press that key instead of treating it as a hold(which is pretty much cheating in competitive games)
look wise, its more or less the same except a few minor discrepancies.
TBH, looks like Saitek crap. Much prefer something not so flashly, and if I did... I would buy a stickered/Alum body/Backlit KMAC, with a matching 10key pad.
Blue LED, Blue Switches, Aluminum Body, All those LED effect. What more can i ask for. I think Linus said they are considering the Shine 3 but not 100% set to make it unless people really want it.

You should probably take a look at the Realforce Topre boards then. They unveiled a really affordable version of their Topre keyboards that is said to retail mid 100s (usualy price for these keyboards is 300 bucks).
Looks nice, I know I'll be getting a new board but I'm not sure between a Shine 3, Year of the Snake or WASD v2 Code.
