The main thing you will want to keep an eye on is your temps at load. If you don't have it yet, install a program like HWMonitor or HWiNFO64. In HWMonitor you'll be looking at the temp labeled "Package." In HWiNFO64 it will probably be labeled something like "CPU [#0]: AMD FX-8350." That is the number you should keep below 62°C max. To test your OC for stability, use Prime95 or IBT AVX.

Here's an OC guide for these processors, its designed for Asus mobos, but most of it is applicable to other brands as well: http://www.overclock.net/t/1348623/amd-bulldozer-and-piledriver-overclocking-guide-asus-motherboard/

You can also check out the Vishera owners clubs for more help.

Good luck thumb.gif

no. 4.2 is rubbish. more infos would be helpful. what voltage are you running? what cooling? your temps while stress testing?

Guess not Had to reset the ram not sure if that was the problem but seeing how i just set it @1866 in bios and it auto did it it might have contributed so I lowered the core clock to 4.4 and ive been playing with the voltage is there anything I should know like dont go past 1.4??

If you're referring to the CPU voltage, you should keep it below 1.55v. Without very good cooling, however, its likely you won't be able to reach that high without overheating.
