Logitech G100s - best mouse I have ever owned!

Thread Starter
After sticking to the Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1 for gaming (basic optical v2.0 for RTS) for the best part of 10 years I have finally found a mouse that I like better than both... the Logitech G100s!

Firstly, the tracking is fairly good. Secondly, its shape is extremely comfy and the mouse is lightweight. The DPI switching is perfect... on 1000 DPI setting I immediately felt at home with it even on desktop use and in Quake I just needed to adjust my sensitivity and I get good response between cursor and mouse at 25.9cm/360.

And drawing it paint felt so much better than using the torture device known as the Logitech G400... it was like I had an elastic band off my wrist after using this mouse.

In conclusion get the G100s! It won't disappoint and is not bad for FPS and perfect for RTS.

If only that fourth button was located under my thumb...

The MX300 is my favorite mouse of all time, and for many the best mouse up there with WMO, and IMO. It supports any grip, and its S2020 is flawless if one doesn't mind prediction. OC the MX300 to 1000Hz, and it's easily one of the best mice ever.
I skipped the G1 (basically a MX300@800dpi) because my MX300 was going strong, and after what's been more than 10 years now, I am on the lookout for a new ambidextrous mouse. As soon as Amazon EU has them in stock, I am ordering one. Your posting doesn't help with patience though wink.gif I really have high hopes that this will be the worthy successor to the MX300/G1 that so many have been waiting for. I couldn't care less for its cheesy design, as long as the shape is the same as MX300/G1 and the sensor is free of acceleration, I could even put up with prediction - was doing fine with it in my MX300 for a very long time.

You said you used a WMO for quite a long time, much like my using the MX300. Do you happen to have experience with either the MX300 or G1, or mice with an A3090, and can share a bit of information about sensor behavior in comparison to those?

Second that.

Though I do agree G100s has an amazing shape, however the 2 main click buttons are kind of its shortcoming. I find it to stiff also feels horrible to use. The scroll wheel and middle click is great though.

Don't get to excited. Its not the same shape - just close. It can feel very diffrent. Depends on how u hold the mouse.

No, it doesn't. I can't fingertip it. The buttons are too short.

Interesting... what hand size is good for it, same as the G400 or not?

Well, only because YOU can't fingertip it doesn't mean the mouse is not suited for it. I didn't say it's the perfect mouse for any hand and any grip - there's no such thing, only that its shape supports any style of grip.

what mousepad have you used to test this mouse?

on what settings does this mouse perform so well?

can you post some screenshots from enotus mouse test with some info?

What about angle snapping?/prediction?

lift off distance?
